Great research!  Karma for you, sir!

She grew up playing games here and there - at least, when they let her have the controller :P.  Her whole family still plays Age of Empires 2 from time to time.  I've found the best approach is to buy her a game, then STFU and let her play. :)

The dishwasher/xbox thing won't work, the chain from the stove won't give her an angle on the TV. *Hides*
