Most certainly these proposals will wind up dead on arrival as the U.S. looks at them and basically sends them packing instead of allowing it's own security to be dictated by a bunch of spineless member nations that fall into the following area "and that not every nation will be willing or able to protect its own people or refrain from harming its neighbours."

There's also of course the problem of the anti-semitic bias of the U.N. in dealing with Israel and it's neighbors, many of whom refuse to recognize it's (Israel's) right to exist.

And finally, there's the whole idea of a pack of countries -- many of whom have absolutely no concept of human rights -- dictating "rule of law" to any nation.

The U.N. may as well pack it's bags now and head for France where it can be the almost United Nations. Or perhaps it can be renamed into the Nations United against the United States and/or Israel.
