So what else do you do for fun?

Aside from sit your ass in front of the computer :P

So what else does everyone do for fun? I play a lot of video games (think that's a given). I'm a musician, a artist, a out of work game guru. Hmm what else..I collect comics. I have every issue of Amazing Spider-Man from the time I was 10-11 years old. I also have a very old issue, number 15, first appearance of the Lizard. The way the economy is going I'll probably end up retiring on my comic collection lol. I also spend a lot of "quality time" with my wife as we're still newly weds. Our first anniversary is next month, day before Halloween. I also listen to a lot of music. Type O Negative, Godsmack, Dethklok. When I actually watch TV I go back and forth between the History Channel, Sci Fi, and Adult Swim at night.

What about You?

I usually listen to movie and/or game soundtracks, and work on various game/nerd-stuff related projects. Sometimes I try to write stories, but they never get very far off the ground because I am really an abominable writer.

I'm a pretty big film junkie, and an even bigger bookworm.  I've got too many DVD's and books lying around for my own good.  :P

I like to read, ride my bike, hang out with friends, surf the web, and go boxing.

Games, walks, books, music. Those four pretty much cover my entire life. Or at least the part that I'm interested in. All of them catalysts for my imagination.

Watching my #1 son discover the same goofy ass shit I did when I was young. It's my very own personal time machine.

Well....as long as you look like Evil Spock when you do it, that's ok then. Come near my cat though and I'll have to kill you...slowly and painfully.

Gah, Reading!!! Right now I'm reading the "Transitions" trilogy by R.A. Salvatore. It's a Drizzt book set in the Forgotten Realms. So far two of them are out. "The Orc King" and "The Pirate King". The next one is called "The Ghost King" and should be out in October. That's what I forgot to list. I'm big into Dragonlance too. Raistlin has always been my favorite. I love playing Pen & Paper D&D but it's so hard to find a decent group that wants to play on a regular basis these days. I'm also into tattoos. I go to a lot of concerts as well when my health is up to it.

back tatoo

That's my latest tattoo. Had it a little over a year now. That's also right after I cut off my long hair. Boy that was a mistake. My hair used to look like this...

Me

Back in my heavier music days I used to give Guitar lessons.

Me teaching Christina

About four years after the pic of me teaching there I met my wife, Jennifer. We had a medieval themed wedding.

Here are some pics from the last concert we went to. The show was called Earthday Birthday 16. I've included a couple pics from EdBd 15 as well. EdBd is one of those concerts I make it a point to go to every year. This next pic features Wayne Static of Static-X.

The next one is a pic I took of Kid Rock from EdBd 15. I've actually met him twice now at various shows. When he's not singing his normal talking voice is rather soft spoken.

Now most wives for some reason I've noticed get very insecure and don't want their man looking at other chicks. My wife is the exact opposite. At big concerts like this you often see body painters painting girls boobs. I didn't even have to look. My wife was like "Hey baby, there's a nice set" or "Oh baby, get a pic of those ones over there!". Don't worry, there's No nudity.

More EdBd 15 boobs

So, that's my life in a nut shell. Maybe I should change the title of this thread to "Getting to know your Forum Friends".

My cousin also had a medieval themed wedding, and it was really great ... even if I HATE to disguise myself. We even had some bards ! With a magician and a fire-breather. That's good memories.

I spare my free time between my kids, games (video or boardgames) and my friends.

I stay on the water kayaking or boating during the day, play games at night or when the weather is bad. Sometimes fly rc planes on nice days too.

I am a spanish very old PC gamer. In November I will reach a half of a century over the world, and almost thirty years playing PC games.

The first game I played was a text game, coded in C interpreted, which serves me to learn this programming language. And I played it on a weird Zenith PC with 2 CPUs... those were days!.

I don´t remember the name of the next game I played, but this already have b/w graphics. Maybe someone remember it: there only was foot soldiers, archers and knights, and only one foe.

Since then I have been fond with the fantasy genre,. I bought the Computer Games Strategy magazine to be up-to-date and when I saw MOM published I quickly asked it by mail. And when I played it I got once and for all hooked (previous to this game I got hooked with the Space Strategy genre with Master of Orion).

One consequence of this hooked was my divorce. But I have the better of the marriage: two childrens, though my son is already a 23 years old man.

And about my likes, well, nothing new: movies, music (I played the bass when young), etc etc but over all: a good strategy game, and if there is magic in it much better.

That's a cool Dragon, Zygwen. It almost looks like a tattoo and your girl drew the rest around it.
