Which web Browser do you use?

Which web Browser do you use, and why? this may seem like a weird question but I just thought it would be something interesting to find out  your views on verious web browsers  that are out there. I was using fire fox but found that some of my web pages wouldnt load so I have now gone back to using IE  which seems to be the better one imho

FireFox all the way.

No problems anywhere.

FF3. Works perfectly :)

IE8 only because the Irish government software I use is based on it, though Opera (and O mobile) works on it now.

If #1 would have taken the time to actually check the threads he'd seen that:

Thread #1 is hopelessly outdated.
Thread #2 is vagely related.
Thread #3 is about browsers VS WB

anybody having trouble getting on wincustomize with opera, keep getting error url too long, and will not load the page.

I have been using Opera for a long time now and have never had any problems with Wincustomize or anywhere else. As far as this thread goes it's good to have this every year or so as Browsers change and so do peoples opinions. There may be a browser listed that someone never heard of and something new to try.

Firefox

Opera

Google Chrome

Mostly Firefox. I have to force myself to open the others. I really want to give them a try. I am an (looks around to make sure Yrag isn't listening) add-on addict, so it's hard to give up FF.

I'm trying to use Chrome for work related stuff.

I haven't made up my mind about Opera yet. I was interedsted when it had Unite, but they have removed it for a while.

I tried Flock. Not for me.

I tried WYZO and may go back to that as it develops. It has some great potential.

Mozilla Labs is working on a new add-on for FF called SNOWL. This has a lot of potential for putting your feeds and messaging services all in one app that you can run in the sidebar or in the main screen. It's worth checking it out. Similar to that is a stand alone app from Mozilla called SPICEBIRD that I plan on checking out.

Well .....

At the moment I am using the apple Safari browser ... I love its interface ... and is the only browser for

me to use here at Wincustomise ... All pages load in less then a second , ALL THE TIME , as opposed to IE7 & 8 ,

~ which makes WC sluggish as hell ALL THE TIME  ( for me , anyway )

For a long while before I went to Safari I used Deepnet Explorer : http://www.deepnetexplorer.com/ ...

Even THAT was faster the IE .. hope that helps you, Shaunna ..

Firefox is the most versitle browser I think.  i was a loyal MyIE2 user even after becoming Maxthon I still used it but after the Maxthon2 browser came out they fell apart.

IE8.  I like the InPrivate browsing and page compatiblity features.  Never could get used to FF.

I just recall my Firefoxmaniac motto: "what is better than Firefox ? two Firefox !! (the default + the portable)"

well, now my hypercustomized Firefox is running automatically at system startup !

Firefox 3.5

1.  The add-ons really make life easy in the infinate space of the internet.

2.  It is extremely fast.

3.  And is easily customizable and skinnable... (a really good skinning add-on is "Personas")

4.  Thunderbird... I know it's not a browser but, it is an excellent email client in the Mozilla Family and relates well with Firefox.

Right on, Snowy!

Shaunna, I've found that FF3 is excellent, and there are some add ons that make it even better.

I do use Opera 9.6 a lot, though.
