Are there any plans for adding audio/visual indictation for when there are new messages recieved when the chat windows in not the active one?

 

and what about being able to see all of a players Ready to play games (profile, list in chat or on buddy list?)

Yes, we have plans to update the profile page with all sorts of data. :-)

I thought of another thing to add, What about being able to broadcast you want to play with a mod, or showing a mod list for the game you want to play?

Mod support is not something we have discussed internally.  I will add it to our list, but I am not promising anything.
