Subscriber Resources button not working

Well, actually when i click on the subscriber resources button and it takes me to the subscriber resources section.  The problem i am having is that i keep getting the same screen I did back in October of last year.  The new subscriber skins are not showing up!  I don't know what's wrong.

I figure that since we are supposed to get the 12 skins per year that i should see close to 12 since its been nearly a whole year since the last one released.

Can someone help me out with this technical error ???

 

I am only thinking this because of

Q&A

Now, I'm sure everyone has questions about what this change means for them.  Let me quickly cover the high points...

  1. I already have an existing subscription, do I get these skins too?
    Yes, you'll have access to all skins released while your subscription is active.
  2. How often will skins be released?
    We'll release 12 over a calendar year(Jan - Dec).  Sometimes it'll be one a month, sometimes more, and sometimes we may miss a month altogether.
  3. It won't be one per month?
    We're not guaranteeing one per month.  Sometimes schedules get hectic and projects get in the way.

*a year is a calendar year, January 1st to December 31st.  Because this plan is launching in May of 2008, the 2008 skin set may fall short of the 12 target by December

 

hmmm.... alright, blow off 2008 as 'short'

Somehow,I think the next subscription drive just might fall flat on it's face. :-"   The ODNT sub MC themes left a lot to be desired also.(Two recolors of an earlier theme?) :zzz:

Lemme see,instead of a WC sub next year I could buy two really nice MyColors themes. Then I may actually get what I paid for.

Kind of knew this was going to happen, not really enough resources available for Stardock to be able to do everything it wants or makes plans to do. 

That being said, I'll continue subscribing and when they get things turned around I'll be happy to show you all my free skins. :O :-" :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

When I hit the subscriber resource button, there are NO skins from 2009.  The newest skin in the list is the Halloween Premium Suite from 2008.  I think THAT is what the OP is posting about.  For instance, the Space (released March 13, 2009) is not in the list.  Somehow I lost that skin and I don't know how to get it back -- it's not listed in Impulse.

That's the point though Philly,a price increase was justified based on skins we didn't get. That hardly counts as "free",which wouldn't shorten the sub period by 1/2 or cost an additional $10. IMHO, an adjustment is needed. Most of us can't even access some of the subscriber skins if a reinstall is needed because they disappeared from the list in resources.

Everyone at WC knows I'm a big SD fan,but  false,misleading or insincere statements really don't set well with me.

firebrick, no I don't work for Stardock, just a member of the community, and I was just offering up my opinion on the matter.

The Resource Page and missing skins I believe was mentioned here in the forums or possibly in the IRC Stardock channel.

ID mentioned that he'd check on the missing skins. I don't remember seeing a answer yet but I may have missed a post. Give him time, I'm sure he hasn't forgotten. Could be something in the works for the new site.

I do wish that the 12 subscriber skins per year question would get answered.

I'd rather SD takes it's time and releases a good, quality skin than rush 12 skins that look like shit.  The most recent offerings from MyColors have sucked...I know I'm not alone in this thought.  But I'm sure I'll still get lambasted and blacklisted and all that...

Right now the issue is getting the subscriber resources back up.  Something took it out, and possibly the backups with it.  So that is why that is taking a bit to get back up.

actaully I was complaining about the fact that the promise of the 12 free subscriber skins was not being fullfilled and no one has been forthcomig about explaining this.  This is the second post regarding this issue I have started and yet no answer to what the deal is.

this post was kind of a way to draw attention to a metaphoralogical problem.  the real problem is not the button working as much as the absense of material that is due after you click the button.
