[Performance] Complete graphical failure

As soon as I launch elemental, I am greeted with a white screen, yet the cursor appears quite normal. After a few seconds, what I assume is the cinematic begins, as black bars frame the whiteness, and the music is heard. Then appears what I guess ought to be the main menu, which looks like this:

QuickPost

All along, the cursor is perfectly normal.

I realize that the problem quite probably arises from the fact that my graphical drivers are horribly outdated (something that elemental warned me about the first time I launched it). However, I have searched everywhere and I simply can't find updated drivers for my notebook (LG Electronics LS50, with ATI Mobility Radeon 9200). If anyone can help me with my driver problem, I would be eternally grateful.

Here's my dxdiag:

By the way, is there no way on these forums to put text inside some kind of scrollable box? Because these dxdiags are a sore to see all over the place.

Trimmed thread. The game will require at least some sort of DX9 card (for font support and other features), and the 9200 is a DX8 card. So unfortunately it's just not going work. Though it's helpful that someone found this because we could probably use a check for it so it fails gracefully.
