When signing in for the first time, RTP accepted none of my logins.  I actually assumed I'd forgotten and requested a login update email, but I was right, and those details didn't work.  Restarting RTP let everything work fine.  Is this common?

 

Oh, and the 'your login is wrong' placeholder message is too big for the default window size.

 

Anyway, this raises an interesting issue I've encountered before.  My account was originally a SDC account (ie, email/pass) which was transferred to Impulse back in the day and both worked interchangably when I set it up.  However, Impulse accounts are actually username/pass (like the forums) and games like Demigod and apps like RTP want the Impulse account, but the old format still works in some cases.  Is this normal?

This may be a login issue, we will investigate.

We are putting the login error into a dialog for that reason (it remembers the resize) so you will see that in the next release.

It is normal for you to be able to use your Nickname or Email.  That should work for all login dialogs.

Oh.  :)  It generally works both ways, but Demigod's login required the username, and since then I've been wondering if my account is some kind of cross-connected antiquated SDC-hybrid monster.
