Hi,

 

see the attached screenshot, this demonstrates some of the work we are doing, there are 4 mods (of the many we are working on) on display in the shot, the 2 most interesting and important ones, bombing run game mode. (you can try it out by checking out the source on our website) and the team health bar panels

 

They will display various information (and be clickable) health, buffs/debuffs and status, has ball/has flag etc

 

In observer mode (yes another mod we are working on), the observers will see both teams health on either side, Great for sort of a battle cam mode to show on a big screen etc.

Wow, damn, can't wait for 1.2 to see what you can really do. I hope stardock picks up the ball for gpg and hosts approved mods.

Nice, I believe Observers were covered in the LUA files and was hoping they'd get fixed up. I believe Observers would actually increase the upload requirements of any games that they observed, so you might want to look into that just to make sure, although I'm sure you've got it all under control.

Thanks for the feedback at the moment, 2 other game modes come to mind as fun to do, Assault and Team fortress

 

They will come after i finish bombing run, if anyone wants to try it out, i would love to get a hamatchi group together and play test it over lan.

Lol, that's actually a buff, since in Bombing Run you can only damage the citadel with the ball and nothing else, that's a real nice effect Malard added, a "shield".

im curious, how long did that take u guys (and perhaps girls) to do that?

ive used warcraft world editor, and played some of the crazy ideas on battle.net, and i want to know if such a thing is poosible to happen on DG
