Ideas for a Community Theme Project - Holiday Edition

I have been wanting to help organize a new community theme project for quite a while.  With the holidays rapidly approaching, and the fact that Christmas is one of the most popular skinning holidays, I would like to propose a community project around that.

What do you say?

My idea, subject to further input from the community.

Christmas/Winter Holiday Theme Pack

This would include at the minimum:

  • WindowBlinds theme
  • DesktopX Theme
  • DesktopX Gadgets
  • CursorFX theme
  • Dreams
  • RightClick Skins
  • Icons (IP or just some dock icons)
  • Wallpapers

At the end this would all be wrapped up in a Theme Manager suite.

My thought is a minimal-type theme that will appeal to a broad range of people, yet have a big influence of holiday colors or design. 

What we need?

I need a Project Manager who will help coordinate skinners and their activities.

We also need ideas for a unique name plus design ideas.

September 28th Update:

Here is the current list of people who have signed up to participate.  Aside from the WindowBlinds theme as we want to keep it consistent, several people can create themes of the same type as long as they stay within the theme.

Hi Team and everyone. First I must appologize for not staying up to date with the project. As some of you know, my wife was undergoing tests for surgery and I have not been around like I want to. :'(

Now to the screenshots. B)

This will be a wallpack and screen saver. I am also hoping to make a Dream. The wallpack features a Holiday Candle (based on Xiandi's WindowBlinds skin). It has 2 background tints (Light and Dark) and can be used on WideScreen and FullScreen monitors. The screen saver features the candle flickering with some nice holiday music. The wallpack is done. The screen saver will finished Friday, Dec. 18. B)

I also want to thank 2of3 and Xiandi with their help in making the candle and the animation. :star:  :karma:

Jimbo, sorry to hear about your wife, hope she's doing well.

If you need some assistance with the dream, feel free to PM me.

Since it looks like your animation on the candle would just be the flame, you could go with a hybrid dream pretty easily. Your welcome to use the flame file from my menorah dream if you would like.
