dread lords on parade / dread lords dominion

hi!

 

i just wanted a game against the dreadlords (just like in "milkyway" custom galaxy, when dread lords are moving by and attacking everything in their range, later they begin to conquering worlds)

so i started in a large galaxy, dread lords dominion scenario turned on, but nothing ever happened.

i started an another game, this time enabling mega events, but still nothing.

then i googled it a couple times, but no hints whatsoever, how to get those bastards conquering my worlds, or even appear. :S

so pls can someone help with it? they just don't like me? :)

 

btw, i play galciv2:toa with latest patches.

The game option 'Dreadlords on Parade' is a lame duck i'm afraid. I have tried many times, but the other AI races always make short work of them.

 

You have to remember that they start off with maximum technology, so they cannot really build anything much at all because of how long it takes to complete maximum technology projects!!

 

Of the few times they did manage to get going a bit, they wasted all their ships with their obsession for attacking me while letting the other AI races wipe them out!

anyway, with milkyway custom map they are working. not much fun :( they're just awfully strong

Ah so you got them working?? The whole point of having them is that they 'are' strong so you can have a very nice challenge. Be careful tho, remember what happened to me.... the Dreadlords had tunnel vision and only wanted to atack my race, so the other races had a free hand to wipe them out. if it wasn't for that idiocy, i would probably still think it worth giving a try.
