Demigod ranking mystery solved?

Know all those people with a 4-1 record that sit at the top of the Demigod list and keep going up and up in rankings? I'm talking about the screen for individual demigod rankings. This post is about that phenomenon.
As many of you may know, I play pretty much entirely custom matches. One day for the heck of it I played a couple of Pantheon matches. I'd been doing pretty good on the Erebus rankings page... Like #18 or so. But I was one of those people with like 2-1 record. The next day when I looked up my Erebus ranking, I was still #18, but my record had updated to like 63-3. This number seems to be about correct for my custom wins with Erebus.
So it seems what the individual demigod ladders are doing is updating the experience from ANY game played, but only updating the win/loss columns when a Pantheon (or maybe skirmish) game is played. To test this, I played a Pantheon game with Queen of Thorns and the same thing happened, with my rankings updating from like... 1-1 or whatever to a more realistic 40-1.
So... Just thought I'd share. All those people with low game totals probably play mostly Custom matches and don't play Pantheon anymore, hence the odd looking stats.
