Very brave of you, Death.

Point people to a page full of disinformation in an effort to debunk alleged misinformation.  Anonymously, of course, which really helps your credibility.

There has indeed been misinformation thrown around about the 'death panel' and since the term is claimed to have been coined by Sarah Palin, her usage and context should prevail.  You, and a whole bunch of people on both the right & left, have either failed to understand her plain English or have jumped to erroneous conclusions based on false, and pejorative, assumptions.  The phrase, as originally used, had nothing to do with the end-of-life counseling provisions of HR3200, to which many otherwise intelligent folks on both sides of the UHC debate assumed it referred.

The panel named after you exists on paper, in HR 3200.  All you need to do is read it.  The source of its information, the entity designed to feed it in order for it to have something to do, has already been created by the so-called stimulus package - the Federal Coordinating Counsel on Comparative Effectiveness Research - so we're already half way there.

Hello Daiwa:

Your first sentence said I was brave.  But I wasn't attempting to be brave.

Thank you for visiting the site.

DEATH

But I wasn't attempting to be brave.
End of quote

A masterpiece of understatement, that.

With the wit you are displaying, I'm already disappointed to excess.  Search your herd for someone worthy to respond.  If they have a sling and some rocks, even better.
