2.0 Update Policy?

Object Dock is a great program I own the plus version and am very happy with it.  I bought it about five months ago now and at the time of purchase it was version 1.9.  I'm very worried about the 2.0 update.  I know that at the .5 and .0 boundaries depending on time of purchase for versions that it usually becomes a paid update.  I have not received a single update for Object Dock yet.  When 2.0 eventually does arrive I do not wish to be put into the pay to update category.  So, I would hope some consideration would be applied that I could cross the .0 boundary without paying.  It can be verified on your end that I have not received any updates.  2.0 has been promised for quite a while now and this lag in my mind justifies an exception to the usual rule of being close in time to receive the free update.  I sincerely hope that version at purchase will instead be the criteria for Object Dock updates considering this long period of promises to release.

Thank you,

headkase.

Wow. Thats a mental Idea (sorry couldn't resist)

I also haven't recieved any updates for ObjectDock Plus and think it's a great program. I wouldn't mind getting 2.0 for free either - though I believe there will be a smaller fee for upgrades anyway?

They won't credit anyone IF 2.0 comes out.

I've had my subscription for just about a year and they haven't done anything to ObjectDock, except to downgrade it.  Funny thing is that the website said that a new version was coming soon even before I subscribed. I guess by "soon" they mean before the next ice age.

I'm trying to like Stardock, I really am.  Couple years ago I started with WindowBlinds and GalCiv II.  Great stuff and the customer friendly policy had me enamored with the company.  This feeling is wearing off and becoming disillusioned.  Recently I purchased Flock!, Mr. Robot, Alpha Prime, and Painkiller.  All of these are available on Impulse.  After much deliberation I ended up purchasing the first three on Steam and Painkiller on GOG.  This is directly a result of my evolving feelings towards the Stardock entity.  I haven't given up but I will continue to vote otherwise with my wallet until the trust is regained.
