Help!

this might sound stupid to some of u but how do i get a new login screen to work?

You first need to download LogonStudio. https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/

Then when you download a Logon, simply double-click it to install.

ok well i got the logon studio and i downloaded a logon but now i get this unzzipped files and stuff that says Bitmap_127.bmp and it justs the same bmp. things but differnet numbers i need help!

If that is the case, don't unzip the file, rename the .zip extension to .logonxp. If you then double click the .logonxp file it should self install into LogonStudio.

You need to set xp to show them. Go into folder properties...I think its under the Advanced tab.

ok im not understanding some of this so im gonna tell uu everything i did and u guys are gonna tell me whats wrong ok ? thanks

First i downloaded the logon thing and then i opened it and it was a ziped file archive whatever so then i upzipped all the bitmap stuff into a folder and then thats where i dont get it theres no install setup or anything just bitmaps theme UIfile and uifile.oldlayout

Open Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > uncheck the option "Hide extension for known file types" > OK.
Now you'll see the 'zip' extension, right click the file and select 'reneame'. Rename the .zip part to .logonxp. Click OK. If you get a warning message click OK again. Now double click the file, and it should install, and open LogonStudio.
