Here is what I have been playing with and is quite a lot of fun.

1. Bite 1

2. Coven 1

3. Mist 1

4. Bite 2

5. Batswarm 1

6. Poisoned Blood 1

7. Bite 3

8. Mist 2

9. Save

10. Bite 4 and Poisoned Blood 2

11. Mist 3

12. Mist 4

13. Mass charm 1

14. Save.

15. Bloody Haze 10% dodge and Vampiric Aura

16. Mass charm 2

17. Mass charm 3

18 Mass charm 4

19. Muddle

20. Batswarm 2

Ok here is why I tell you why I build this. Ok I am going for a "You Cant touch this Erebus"

Favor = Pendant of Grace 10% Dodge and 15% minion Dodge

Items

Start with Level 1 priests

next 950  scalemail and banded armour

next 1750 Assassin's footguards 10% Dodge 5% attack speed

next 1750 vlemish faceguard

After that I usually upgrade citadel and Save for Cloak of Elfinkind 12000 gold with +750 armour +20% movement speed +15% dodge and a warp every 20 seconds.

Ok why do this, it is fun seeing that green Evade all over the map as everytime something tries to hit you.

At level 15 I usually have the forementioned

Which gives me a 45% Dodge yep you hit me about half the time.

I have two warps to save me and mist. Along with bite to heal me.

I usually upgrade the banded armour to Narmouths ring.

I usually upgrade Scalemail to Platemail of the crusader.

The last spot open can be used for more armour to tank, or mana more mist, or one of my favorites desperate boots which increases your dodge 20% when under 30% health.

wow thats nice

skills build is nothing special but I never thought to try a dodge build, soude like the prefect counter to any auto attack build (regulus for exemple),

I will have to try that, nice build :thumbsup:

I'd really find a way t get Batswarm 2 earlier, the extra range is invaluable.

looks interesting, however im worried about two things.

1, you will have very low hp with current items bought, and you cant dodge special abilities :(

2 i think i would like to have mass charm before lvl 13, since vs good players they will just use a big pot or tp scroll if they find out you dont have it.

But i have thought about dodge builds and this one looks decent!

The good thing about builds is they can change the key is adjusting to enemy.

Low hp doesn't bother me And yes you can evade special abilities. I have evaded a snipe and a pounce last night I have evaded UB spit damage over time. His ooze. Rooks towers his hammer is to easy to evade. the only character that has given me a problem to evade is TB and am not too worried about them. And like I said you can upgrade armour and I do have a free slot.

I never take charm until I know they are huge potion or teleport users

Was a bit of a joke there m8t :) As in, keep it between the two of us...

Anyways, tried it out, and yes its great fun 1 v 1, however, in those nasty 3 v 3 engagements i got nuked by the healthstackers.

It seemed to work VERY good against Rooks shoulder archer tower, and i got out of a few sticky situations by avoinding the hurt. It does not work on mines (but i didnt expect it to)

Im def gonne give it a few more tries beceaus overall dodge does far more then i expected! So nice build there m8t!

I think I played against this Erebus yesterday - it carried the other two on the team to victory, especially the Torch Bearer who followed in his shadow not doing much :P  And I'm pretty sure he did evade my snipe, more than once.

Ya good game Blue88 yes this build is very effective once you get familiar with it.  And if you do stack health you are a real beast with the evade items. It allows me to chase behind towers quite often also :-"

Hey!!!   >:(   I was that TB, and that was my 3rd time playing him ever.  I did plenty with my fire circles and capping flags while his Vampyness was sucking your blood.  *insert horrible slurping sounds here*    :P

 

On a serious note; however, I still don't think I have the hang of catching people running w/ the fireball.  I just seem to follow behind going on about frozen steaks or some such nonsense.... |-)   I promise to try extra hard to flame you good next fight so you'll think better of me.  :P

Ohhhh, that's what the red bar is!!!  I thought it was my blood meter, and I wanted to keep it low to avoid tempting any Erebus snacking going on mid game when he got the munchies....  ;P

I tried this today, after getting the hang of it I was impressed.  The lack of health is certainly made up for with the evades.  I think I'll be playing a bit more erebus now :)

u can buy the bulwark of ages if playing against TB

it reduces ALL damage by 25% which includes abilities like snipe or fireball

only such item that i know of. does any1 else know of a similar item?

i like the idea of sacraficing hp for dodge because if people see you walking around with much lower hp than the rest of your team, you can probably bait them into towers or a mine field or whatyever because they think they can get a kill.

What people don't realize is you are really giving up only one armour and bof which doesn't scale well late game anyway. for 20% evade early game is huge.
