OD+ Icon Problems

Hi there,

I recently aquired ObjectDesktop Plus, and after some browsing of the menu loaded in the 'default.ini' theme. Then my Dock just went to mush. I downloaded a theme pack, and installed it all properly, however I found that the Icons were too large for the background. It's really bugging me and I'm not sure how to solve it. I've got an example of what I mean here:

And this is the screen shot of the theme:

Annoyingly I can get everything to work how I want when I uninstall OD+ and install regular OD, so I'm also wondering if OD+ is supposed to look how the one in the first screen shot looks, or can it look like the latter?

Thanks in advance.

I recently aquired ObjectDesktop Plus

Purchased from Stardock or otherwise, OD+ should not look like your first pic, it will be the same as the free version.

"I recently aquired ObjectDesktop Plus, and after some browsing of the menu loaded in the 'default.ini' theme"

Do you mean ObjectDock Plus? I don't know what you mean by browsing the menu and loading in the default .ini theme. Does this mean that you clicked on the "Configure ObjectDock" icon, and chose a background in the Appearance section?

In any case, try clicking on a "Configure ObjectDock" icon, and click on either "Size & Appearance" if it's a tabbed dock, then click the "Adjust tab colors and styles" button, and from there adjust the icon size, or click on "Appearance" if it's a zoomer dock (as it is in your shot), and adjust the icon size from there.

I created the theme you're using. Where did you install it?

When you downloaded it, you should have gotten a .zip folder. That entire zipped folder should have been extracted to one of two places:

C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds

-or-

C:\Users\"Your User"\Documents\Stardock\ObjectDock Library\Backgrounds
