Demon Assassin

Overview and Traits

Demon Assassin is a Melee Assassin fighting for the Forces of Darkness. He wields a sword and a knife in battle, the sword being his primary weapon.

The Demon Assassin is a highly mobile character who can quickly close the gap between himself and his opponent though the use of warp attacks. His Shadow Swap ability allows him to change positions with an enemy Demigod, throwing them back into their foes. His melee attacks are fast and have a passive chance to critically strike.

While mobile and able to dodge many normal attacks, Demon Assassin is susceptible to magical damage.

The nemesis to Regulus, the Demon Assassin is extremely fast and lethal.

Sounds awesome. And pretty annoying too, I guess I have to start playing as him.

But then again, most DG's are pretty annoying so I guess it balances out :P

nice nice nice

focused on warp-abilities, this DG could be very interesting !

the look is also very cool, a mixture between an Alien (HR Giger) and a knight

question: is "Demon-Assasin" his real name ?? its a little bit trite

Doesn't Reg already have enough nemesi?

Wow, this guy is going to be super annoying.

Well as much as regulus is going to struggle this guy I'm sure there'll be some hilarious times when he teleports players onto six of his mines.

I'm really curious about the range on the swap. If it's yanking regulus from max range all the way behind a tower farm or pulling a rook out of a tower farm into enemy towers it's going to be pretty infuriating. I'm praying it's something along the lines of a 10-15-20 yard range rather than say bat swarm range, but we'll see.

whaoo, the dark ones are calling me! sounds cool and his abilities are original.

A video would be awesome.

Nice.

I cannot wait. For the other one either.

Any news on ETA of the SDK for modders.  We have a number of people in the community awaiting this.

Somewhere on the interwebs, an army of regulus players cries out in despair (this will basically make all 3 of FoD's most popular characters Reg-counters). If the light-side general isn't cool enough to appeal to the Reggie-kiddies, Pantheon 2v2 will be (even more) unplayable unless you can pick "no Regulus on my team" as an option.

And holy hell at Shadow Swap. I see epic ganks incoming.

At first glance at the draw, this DG, as it is being fleshed out, might become in the ultimate badass of the Pantheon. Being my self a pure Rook player ( at least for the moment ), I'll pray for a new "Uranium boots" item to counter his Shadow Swap!

Kidding...  :)

why must you guys make it so hard to decide my main poor UB

He sounds fun, though I'm guessing the name and the sory have yet to be developed. He sounds a little similar to one I suggested a while back, with the ability to teleport his foes.

Looking forwards to it!

Demon Assassin is susceptible to magical damage.

Does this mean we'll get different melee and magical damage modifiers in the (near) future? That would make stategies even deeper. Especially if we retroactively tweak it for the other Demigods as well.

I think he means spells, because evasion affects autoattacks but not spells.

Awesome Demigod, but I hope that's not his actual name. Regulus should be called Angel Assassin then.

I like this, it sounds pretty cool.

I can't be the only person who thought it was going to be a Rikimaru clone after reading the first skill :P was expecting to see passive invisiblity.

HM... lets guess which clone the general dg will be...

Holy shit, Shadow Swap. Use it to put an enemy in the middle of your allies and then use Warp Strike to join in on the gank-fest...

I know, I know. Too early to call OP. But holy shit, that's crazy.

Wow, with dodge and warp, this guy is going to obliterate my dps reg build. Reg's will pretty much have to take mines to deal with him. I hope angelic fury gets a speed buff in response. Of course it's just a preview, so I hope I'm wrong.

I noticed Warp Area designated as an ultimate. Were the other demigods also supposed to have ultimates? I can't really think of a skill that would fall into that category.

Warp Area – Ultimate – Key 3 Activated ability. For a few seconds, Demon Assassin warps to nearby enemies and attacks them. While performing this ability, he is invincible. Number of warps increases as the skill increases.

this sounds too strong

not only this DG seems very powerfull offensively but with a invul shield could be really too much inba

Demon’s Speed Demon Assassin’s movement speed increases.

even speed uhmmm seems too much for a single DG

but looks really cool overall

It will be entertaining for two of them to fight against each other.

Assasin on Team 1: Ha I teleported you.

Assasin on Team 2:  Ha I teleport you back.

They end up in the exact same positions.
