i dont think regulus is balanced

i dont think regulus is balanced

ok flame me im a noob whatever

i just think he isnt

and stats prove me right as its becoming the most played hero

http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/demigods/

and those stats are from day 0 i think if u take last month its probably much worse

being able to snipe from idiotic range it means he can be unstoppable grinding towers unnoticed (due to his range upgrade)

AND still help his team to combat enemy DGs

i would nerf his snipe range  and add tower-range as a citadel upgrade but im no developer

flame away, but i know imba when i see it

I would like to add somethign more to this topic.

If you are going to call a DG, any DG, OP, please, refer to more stuff. Let me give an example.

UB is OP in a 2x2 in prison. That would make more sense. Than, UB is OP, this means he is OP in a 5v5 at Mandala. Absurd to compare a 2x2 match with a 5v5 match.

Each map has something differnet to offer, each XvX has somethign different to offer. So for something to be OP he has to be in all maps and all XvX encounter. There is no such thing in DG right now.

What we did have b4 last patch was a broken favor. Thats all.

Peace Out.

In my experience, if there is any kind of skill difference between the teams, then Reg is awesome for the better team. If it's an even skilled game, Reg is going to be quite useless.

Snipe stops being relevant around level 6. His DPS is fairly low for sieging towers; Mines and Snipe work better. He can't hold a lane at all.

For combat: Any DG > Reg. He goes down very fast.

For support: Any general > Reg. Priest Minions+support skills make Snipe irrelevant from level 1, Angelic Fury doesn't help all that much against Minions, and Mines come too late against Minions.

For siege: Any DG except Assassin Erebus or Ooze UB. Reg takes forever to plink away at a tower without Mines and Snipe only really works if he can spam it on a single tower from far away.

He works a bit better in a 5v5 where you get more chances to do things, but in the more common games, he sucks.

Imo, Regulus needs a speed buff. He can't hold in close combat, so he should have more speed at least.

He's not OP, imo, he's a bit gimped, pretty hard to master and absolutely NOT FOR NOOBS.

P.S. Absence of interrupts also doesn't make him better.

Now that was a joke, wasnt it?? I mean the mines are just ridicolous overpowered. Maybe he is squishy. Ah forget it. Lets make a one vs one ands i will own you with reg, even if i hardly never play him. I have an op build, believe me.

Dito.  I'm trying to think of a character 1v1 against reg that couldn't beat him... nothing comes to mind.  I don't think I'd ever try a 1v1 as reg unless I was completely convinced my opponent had no idea how to play.

Lol,

Reg is definately not OP, I find he is often the biggest feeder in the game, and playing as TB (second most squishy character) I only have problems with the most skilled regs, even when they have six mines down. Just incase you didnt know, TB can outrange the tower as well with a number of his skills, for example: fireball and rain of ice, and i can freeze the tower for prolonged periods so it cant shoot back, allowing me and my teammates to destroy it without taking damage. Add a creep wave or two (especially when priests have been bought) and i doubt that any reg (unless they are AA build with several artifacts and above lvl10) can take the towers down faster.

Note that fireball does 550 damage at lvl 4 and has regen of approx 5 seconds (dependent on the map and flags that are currently held) and so unharrased i can take down a 6000hp tower in about 30-40 seconds solo with AA + fireball + circle of fire (600 damage over 10 seconds recast every 10 seconds).

As said before QoT can also do similar damage to towers even at low lvls, sheild spike wave and ground spikes does ~1000 damage spikes to towers every 8 seconds + uproot which does a bonus ~500 damage at even low lvls (add to that an armor debuff to the tower from ground spikes allowing you to do bonus damage for a period of time) and if you take along a mate to help you gank the tower and you can prevent them from ever taking damage with shield.

So IMHO reg is not OP for his ability to take down towers.

Indisputable evidence that Regulus is bad.

Snipe is weak. I'm a reg noob. I don't use snipe past lvl 1, if at all. Reg can 1v1 most DGs if all his stat points go into combat, but he's no UB, and he's made of glass.

My premade just took on Purgepam as a regulus.  He made a good initial go at it, but was beaten due to our superior strats. He kept saying his build was OP and taunting us.  I didn't know what to do.

If you play a 2 ver 2 game on prison and one team has chosen
demigods like oak sedna ub le qot or rook and the other
team has 1 demigod that plays reg or tb, if the skill
level of the players are equal there is no way the team
that have reg or tb will win.

Sometimes you should choose demigod according to
what the other team has chosen for better chance to win.

Well I'm sure he just climbed on top of his citadel and swatted down Pacov and his team like flies until they finally wore him out and he fell to his death, so he probably won on kills, kill streak, gold and citadel upgrades.

Because Reg is so OP!!!!!!! But really we were running straight to his crystal to try and break it

I find Erebus a hell of a lot more harder to deal with then Reg and I'm a below average player skill wise.
