If you are running GalCiv2 on a Mac then what are you using to run it?

Greetings,

I'm not looking for advise or opinion, I'm looking for the answer to one question.

If you are running GalCiv2 on a Mac then what are you using to run it?

The reason I ask is because I've tried Virtual Box by Sun but that couldn't handle the graphics and I'd like to know before I spend any more time or money that what ever I try will work.

Thanks,

Terry

Newer versions of Mac OS come with Bootcamp. Install that, and than Vista Ultimate. I'm not a Mac head but I belive that's all you have to do.

Better yet get a real computer :)

Thank you for your Advise and Opinion, just what I asked NOT to get.

I have XP and no intentions of buying Vista (I won't even run Vista on my "real" computer at work).

Bootcamp doesn't work with the pre-SP2 version of XP I have on the install disk.

So, I'm going to assume that no one is successfully playing GalCiv2 on a Mac.

To bad, it looked like fun.  eBay here we come.

If you have an install disc from an old version of XP, it is possible to combine service packs, drivers, etc into it and make a new installer image. Just do a search for guides on slipstreaming XP and you should find a number of walkthroughs and tools.
