Updating some skins...thought I would show off some of the changes.

ecoLogical is getting the full 7,Vista,Xp makeover.With some help from Dani on 7 and some inspiration from vStyler there will be 29 substyles!

Knot Vista is also getting the full 7,Vista XP makeover.Many changes,huge selection of styles and colors.New name will be Knot Aero so it will not overwrite the original (if you are one of the few that already have it ;P )

ANOTHER eco update is in the works now...some minor bug fixes and maybe some upgrades from Neil's WB advances...nothing major but should be worthwhile I hope. :D

Looking fabuloso amigo...I'm still deciphering some of Neil's newest additions to WB and SKS.

Like Advanced font effects dont work for me yet and vStyler said the user pic frame could be changed now but damn if I can find it. :dur:

Thanks I.R.B. :) ......I think I'm going to end up with at least twenty RC skins, if not more..... I might have to break them up into packs ( Eco, EcoMud, EcoJungle, and EcoSavannah ) not sure yet.  :)

I didnt work at it very long but I wasnt able to get it to work at all.I enabled the titlebar checkbox and tried to make the text and shadow translucent but there was no change.

Maybe because the text was on a text background. 8|

I was just testing it...this blind dosnt really need it but future ones will I'm certain. The effect I always wanted to achieve was having the text appear to be inside or under a glass surface.

Translucency would help but a true gloss overlay would be even better.(this would require the text not be topmost object...like XION media player)

 

Trans with the right blend mode could do a good job of approximating it tho. :thumbsup:

 

The reflection trick sounded awesome til vStyler pointed out the illusion would be ruined on the taskbar if the icons dont reflect also.arrrrrrrggghh! :(O

The skin now has 29 substyles...I added 6 glass styles to Win7 (4 of them will also give Vista users more choices).

3 of them are for Vista-like small icons and 3 for large icons.Grey glass,brown glass and green glass.

hmmmm...3.71 mb...but I havnt done any recent cleanup to its folder...some of that maybe unneeded poop. ^_^

 

Mostly just waiting to see if Neil can get the user pic frame section into SKS so I can do that and maybe see if he gets around to any of the glitches I sent him.

He's got plenty to do without me waiting for every single little bug I send him to be fixed...the skin would never be uploaded if that were the case.

 

Plus,I send him some pretty obscure glitches that most people would never see or notice. ^_^

There was one I started but it was too complicated for me at the time...the photoshop doc was over 200 layers alone.

I may give it a go someday when I feel more confident and I have a pc capable of dealing with something that large.(my pc is an emachines 3100+)

Not exactly a powerusers dream. :(O

A day late, but here it is........

Eco Mud, with or without the vine shadow, with or without sub menus (lite or dark)  and the sub menus can also be used by themselves.

I dont have right click yet...Are the menus constant,persistent...or must you call them up...I mean will they work like a kind of dock?
