Active Windows Dock? Does this exist/is possible?

Just wondering, i havent been able to find a setting where I can add "list active windows" so somewhere on my screen it shows all the applications I have running.  This is just like windows does on its regular taskbar (not the start button, quick links, or time/process display on the far right).  For now I can just alt tab like crazy, but it would be neat if I could get an active windows dock and not have to grab windows blinds just for that.

Thanks in adanced and thanks coming later...

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but you might try opening your ObjectDock Properties box. Then select Dock Contents, and set it to Display Open Windows as well as Icons. Hope this helps you.

OBJECT DOCK

downloaded the free version for me laptop "Windows Vista", as i use the free version

on my desktop "Windows XP", i like this prog and find it extremely usefull, can't think

of any other replacement and surely not rocketdock wich is soo far limited.

Would like to buy full version, but if it isnt working, there's no point to do so.

Download complete, install succefull, nothing gives a clue whatsoever why it isnt

launching, whether i launch it with impulse or from the folder, it wont launch at all.

Would very nice if someone could come up with some ideas as to why this is.

many thx in advance.

MichelleMathews, is your laptop an Acer by any chance? There have been problems with Acers pre-installed security apps and OD. LINK See Lantecs reply(#9)
