In the begining the Vasari had much of the galaxy under there control, until a mysterious force took over much of there worlds.  They sent there fleet in to investigate and all but one frigate came back.  Who are the ones who were doing this?  I thought it was the Advent at first but the advent only came into the story around the same time the Trade Order did.  what the heck was it?!

let's see which side effects are absolutely terrible- an even worse rash from another "dimension", brain damage, internal bleeding, lung bursting, lung dropping (WTH is long dropping???), extreme constipation, constipated diarrhea (WTH?!?! how do have that?!?!), cancer, and the absolute worst: STUPIDITY.

WOW. I am definitely not taking that medication.

Time may not exist as a dimension or force.  Turns out that it's actually completely irrelevant and ignoring it solves all kinds of problems in all physical models of the universe.  Unfortunately, it does create a few of its own, but it appears those problems are easier to deal with than the others created by the idea that time is a dimension or force.

Just sayin.

So I bet the faction that is chaseing the Vasari is

The creator or was it the PR guy said that he hid the reason somewhere in the code for the star dock employees to find out.
