Google Chrome compatibility?

Hello there.

I just downloaded MyColors and am using the Sins of a Solar Empire theme.

All is great, except for one thing: Google Chrome has stayed the way it was.

That would have been just a minor setback, but whenever I try to make the Chrome window fullscreen, it just disappears, save for the top blue bar, which means I always have to run Chrome in windowed mode.

Is there a way to get it working again?

Same thing here. Actually, the problem I have looks like there is a incompatibility in the upper bar where the Minimize, Maximize and Close small buttons. There is an offset. So if I click on the Minimize button, I click on nothing. If I click on the Maximize, it's like I click on Minimize.

There is a screenshot. Look at the top right part, you will understand.

Would be glad to hear from Stardock on this.

Thanks.

I'm not sure that WB or MyColors is compatible with Google Chrome.  Is this the first time that both of you,  and dthif1980 are using Stardock software?  If not has Google Chrome been skinned by My Colors before?

Philly, I'm using Fences on 2 XP machines, but that's not related. For MyColors, it's the first time yes. Never tried on XP, but tried now (previous post) on Vista. The skin is ok with IE and other windows under Vista. Only Chrome has this problem, at least that I noticed.

Not sure it is revalent, but my Vista is 64 bits.

I have Windows XP professional...

First time using MyColors and only Chrome is having problems.

Explorer is okay... but the Chaos gods damn me if I am going to use that monstrosity again.

You can still use Google Chrome if you wish it would appear though that you will need to open WindowBlinds Configuration and click on setting.  Under settings select change the look of an app and stop WindowBlinds from skinning Google Chrome.  The reason for this is that not all programs skin in the same manner.

Hopefully someone from Stardock will comment and correct me if I am wrong.

So I need WindowsBlind and not MyColors?

Alright, the new update fixed the problem discussed here. Thanks Stardock :)

But I found 2 others.

1- When I minimize the Google Chrome window, it minimizes ok, but for some reason twice. I click the button, I see the minimize, then I see the window maximized again and then the window disappear (minimized). The problem is only present when the window is full screen.

2- The other problem is that, again only when the window is full screen, when the mouse cursor points on the Tool icon or the Other Bookmark button, near the right edge, the mouse cursor becomes the resize cursor. That alright, but it's just that the zone of resizing is quite big. The mouse pointer needs to be on the left end side of the Tool icon to actually be able to click on the Tool icon, because if not like I said the mouse cursor is in resize mode.

Hope this helps!

Google Chrome 3.0.195.6
Windowsblinds 6.4

I like my Chrome opened in windowed mode, but suddenly (as in, I'm not sure when it happened) it now opens with a titlebar.

When I maximise, then minimise, it reverts back to what it should be/used to be:

Is this a bug? Or is there a simple solution I can't see?

Cheers.

Chrome has it's own look and feel.
It doesn't play nice and reveal.
So the programs we make
Sometimes make a mistake,
Which results in a view that's surreal.

If Chrome has some fuzzy reception,
And a theme is distorting perception,
Then open our software,
And go in and find there
The place you can add an exception.

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
Vista: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
