The CIA's Got Some 'Splainin To Do

The CIA got caught lying and 83% of Minions say “that’s no surprise.”  The issue:  a program designed to shoot terrorists up close rather than with air strikes that would hit civilians, and keeping it from Congress. 

VP Cheney apparantly blocked the information from being shared and now Congress is indignant.  They want more gov’t oversight and control of the CIA.  The CIA wants to be left alone to do their job the way they always have and that includes keeping a few secrets from the rest of us. 

While 24% of Minions want to see Osama Bin Laden caught and tried, most want to see him dead on a platter (74%).

It’s the battle of old school secrets vs. new school disclosure.  Who should win this one?

I am one who believes that sometimes there are things we don't need to know. If we knew where Osama Bin Laden is and we could send a Navy Seal task force in to kill him secretly and break a few rules in the process, I won't lose any sleep if I am not told about this.

I am one who believes that sometimes there are things we don't need to know. 

If a terrorist had killed me in U Haifa, no-one would have protested or discussed the issue in congress.

If a CIA agent manages to kill one of those bastards up close, that's fine with me.

mmm... I am sorry but this brand of liberal thought is probably too foreign (read: stupid) for me to even comprehend. Can someone explain what is the actual issue?

I have been trying to think like a redarded deluded insane person who loves evil and failure and hates success and good and common sense. And I think I understand, it just hurts my brain to even contemplate.

I think congress is unhappy about one of the following:

1. Saving civilian lives

2a. Killing terrorists.

2b. Not making public the exact methods via which terrorists are killed to prevent counter measures against such methods. (which results in more dead terrorists... see number 2a)

 

Now... please let me know if I figured it out, I don't think I can continue trying to think like an idiot for much longer because this is giving me a migrane (note: I am not being sarcastic, I really have taken some time to figure it out and it really did give me a headach to even contemplate such stupidity; this is worse than talking to creationists or flat earthers)

It's just a distraction to cover Pelosi's previous accusation on water-boarding. Notice how quick that story got all quite? Smoke and mirrors.

Water Boarding: n. A form of training given to american soldiers to toughen them up to simulate torture without any of the nast side effects (eg. crippling, death, etc). Occasionally used on pussy terrorists who were mentally weak enough to break under something so light, providing us with valueable intel...
