I Agree with some of you....My  Question is this??? Have all the Skinners gone on VACATION...???....Getting sick and Tierd of looking at the same old skins and everything else on this SITE..............WHAT GIVES??????????????????

As far as what to do about your mom -- have you called around to any of the funeral homes in your area to see if they could work with you on making payments on a cremation or something?  My ex-husband worked as a funeral salesman for a while, and lots of people aren't financially set when they lose a loved one.  Cremation where you keep the ashes is the cheapest, and then later on if you got into a better financial position in the future, you could always get her a grave plot or mausoleum space when you could afford it.  I'm not sure all the funeral homes run like this, but the one my ex worked for was extremely understanding and kind to people who didn't have any immediately available liquid assets.  People were making $20 a month payments on $7000 funerals.

I feel like you should learn how to create skins yourself, so you never have to get tired of looking at the same old skins and everything else.

FYI - it's a labor-intensive endeavor, and in the adult world, most of us have a day job to work too, so very little spare time for skinning.  I do what I can, but at best I can only do 1 to 1.5 in a month, and that's if the television sucks and my spouse has some new game to entertain him so my free time can be spent on only me.

I am not a skinner, just a user of the software. 

What I do is use Theme Manager to pull links together to the skins so that you don't have to go looking for them in the WC Gallery Libraries. 

Yes, you do need to have the software installled for whatever skins are included in the Theme Manager Suite.

As a side note, we can see that you are upset and most of us would offer assistance, if you would tone it done and leave out the offensive words.

Did you ever email [email protected] for assisntance in correcting you problems that you are/were having?

Oh, so you get a FREE download for which you did not read the discription, and now you're angry at Stardock? Oh, and your language is offensive. If you have an issue with Stardock, then contact them directly.

Got one here! I skin WindowBlinds, ObjectDock, RightClick, and a few others...

I know several who are currently working on new skins, myself included. It takes a long time to produce a WindowBlind--and even longer for a QUALITY blind. for me, it seems to take an average of 2 months. Of course, skinning is not all I do, either.

 

Oh, and I'd say let this little thread hijacking end here. This whole rant is not the purpose of this thread. If you desire to continue this, Badtipper, I'd suggest starting your own post. But keep it civil...
