Running Vista Ultimate and getting nag screen to buy deskscapes

So I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate, downloaded the deskscapes version 1.02 and I'm still getting the nag screen that I need to buy deskscapes to run any of the dream files.  I've tried uninstalling, rebooting, etc...any suggestions???

It sounds like you may have installed a trial version at one point and it is not uninstalling completely. Try the following...

Uninstall deskscapes.
After uninstalling deskscapes, manually delete the "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Deskscapes" directory and the "C:\Program Files\stardock\object desktop\deskscapes" directory if the uninstall process didn't delete them.
Reboot.
Install Deskscapes 1.02
Reboot.
It should work at this point

A couple more items, are you an Object Desktop subscriber? or have you purchased Deskscapes yet ?  You need to have either purchased Deskscapes or have an active object desktop subscription in order to run the FULL deskscapes sofware without the nag screens.

Not if you have Vista Ultimate. There is a free "full" version for Vista Ultimate owners that does not show the nag screen.

does it not work properly in Windows Vista Ultimate? or was it just some issues with the installation?
