Maped editor? Need new maps!

Maps are created in a 3D modeling application like Maya or 3DSmax and then exported into a Granny format. I doubt that there will ever be a custom made map editor.

GPG/SD are working on two new Demigods as we speak. No time frame though, but i expect over the course of the next few months we will see new maps and even perhaps more demigods.

Especially ones the mods feature is released...there are plenty of talented guys out there.

na i doubt it. supcom 2 is more important to them

SupCom 2 is more important to all of us too!

Cant say i am that excited about SupCom 2. I mean it will be a fine game and is being built on good pedigree, but at the end of the day it's another RTS, which is not bad thing, but no unique thing either.

Demigod, for me at least is a very different game and one that i had not come across before (i didn't know about DotA untill after DG), i hope it is not headed for a early grave...even if Ryan still kicks my ass every game....hey StAcK3D!

Doesn't it help DG that SD isn't involved in SupCom 2?

Last I read it was GPG/SE doing SupCom2, so it still leaves SD to help push DG along....wow so many abbreviations lol

GPG is the bigger problem than SD, imo.  SD has, despite their missteps, put it great effort to fix many of the problems with the game.  GPG has been very slow to live up to their promises and also to fix or balance nearly anything in the game.

I'd say...and this is just ne thinking outloud, that the reason it's quiet at the moment is that Brad is working on some deal with GPG that would allow SD to create more content.

We all saw the two demigods being moulded in one of Brads video's....why else would those be at SD???

I'd say the first month took all the wind out of GPG's sails and they are happy to just cut the losses and move on. SD on the other hand may have a point to prove...and since they are great at providing patches with every other title they are invovled with i'd say they will spring us a surprise....though it may take some time.

Good thing League of Legends looks like crap (IMHO), otherwise DG may have been in real trouble.

RTS haven't evolved since the build 100 mammoth tanks days.  Why even bother releasing a futuristic rts with starcraft 2 round the corner
