So I have objectdock plus on 2 comps, it works great on the standerd case but on my laptop... it wont display my open windows as "screenshot thumbnails" Now it tells me that it only works on sliders or something, and that i need to restart objectdock... how do i do that? i did a right click quit, but that dident work. anyone know of anything?
Strange that the quit function didn't work but you can kill it in taskmanager as well.
well the laptop is a dell, and it comes with its own gock program, but it was easily turned off. could that be causing some sort of malfunction? I guess its not that big of a deal but i paid for it, and altho the icons i got for her are really nice, having them all over the place is just fugly.

I have a similar problem. For me the problem is occuring beacuse I have Vista Premium on my computer and Vista Home Basic on my Dell Laptop. Vista Home Basic does not support the Auro Interface, and hence does not support thumbnails from its own taskbar and Objectdock cannot use them either.
For me the problem is not ObjectDock, its Vista.
Don't know why you wouldn't be able to quit OD, but Wizard's suggestion about the task manager should work.
About those windows, go to your OD config screen, then to the "Dock Contents" tab. Make sure the button for "Display open windows along with my icons" is checked.
