New Favor Item: Hero's Backpack

Taking the hero's backpack favor item turns the favor slot into a passive item slot, as well as granting you +200 health and mana.

Pretty simple, a mediocre at best static  boost, but later allows you to itemize a bit better.

Whaddya think?  Maybe doesn't need static boost?

Good idea but I think it would be underpowered. Maybe add 1 slot and then another slot that is the equivilent of a lesser health potion with a massive 3 or 4 minute cooldown. Instead of the health and mana boost. This would make it useful at the beginning and end. The extra slot gives extra power in the end and the potion is useful in the middle. I'd say if this was what was used it would have to be an expensive favor item.

I think it should be an active slot instead of a passive, plus a minor benefit (+armor?). I'd like (love ;) ) the item either way, but I think this would be a little more balanced.

Actually, active slot may work best, since it would be in the same part of the UI as an active slot. I can imagine pretty much any defensive stat boost (HP, Armor, maybe mana) making sense to go along with it.

Yeah I'd say that some active stat boost or some ability to restore 500 mana every minute at will with an instant cast abilities IN ADDITION to the extra slot would be nice.

Hmm, actually, an ability i was tinkering around with for a 'Trinket mage' was an absolute cost reduction on items.

What if the backpack just subtraced 50 from the cost of all items (minimum 25)? Not useful for ashkandor's, but much more effective at decreasing the cost of 200 or 300 gold potions. Would synergize quite well.

Nice idea. I would love to try it out.

Very nice idea!  It would be nice if it could function as either a active or passive slot, but that might get tricky coding wise.
