Ship repair module

Don't know if this has been suggested or not as I'm new here and couldn't find a Search button.

Since ships will be custom made can we have a repair module that would allow ships to repair themselves in space rather than having to return to a planet? There might be various levels of repair bsed on research done. It would add to the decisions involved in configuring a ship as to whether it was worth the space or not. Thanks..

Edit - This probably should have been in the Please! Please! Please!... thread but I didn't realize that was the new tech list thread until after posting this.

good idea.

Could add to the strategy. A weaker ship (as space was spent on repair modules), but one which regenerated each turn.

Well there is already the Paladin ship from AP that heals other ships. 

Also, you will be able to use constructors to repair starbases.

t some kind of repair module to add to a ship design. Maybe a basic repair module would heal the ship it's on and an advanced module (to be researched after the basic module) would repair all ships in the same location.

so have a low tech/cost alternative. Of course if you also have fuel limitations would be nice, but, this is not the right thread lol.

mage per turn, so that might need tweaking.

We will probably have modules that add the abilities that the Paladin, Sovereign, Wraith and Vampire ships had. Where they will fall in the tech tree, I don't know.
