Just Realeased Facebook Application

Hello Everyone,

I have just finished the beta for a Demigod facebook application. Help promote the game to your friends while bragging about your latests win and stats with this easy to use application.

"The demigod played was:" is enough, and "as an" in that context is incorrect grammar (and unnecessary in this case anyway).  Make the part that displays in the info smaller.  No need for such a giant picture, especially if that picture appears every time.  Get rid of it or make it icon sized.  Don't forget, as fun as applications are, you are servicing facebook - so make it fit in :)

Kudos for going with it, neat idea :)

Yeah I have fixed that gramatical error. The post image is definately to large, the profile one is a bit but if you see it in the context of other ones its not that bad. I will put a smaller image in, thanks for the suggestion!

heh actually looks pretty nice...an idea:

Could you have it show who played with/against in the last game?  Is this sort of thing possible on facebook? example:

Keaton just played a game of conquest on cataract and won.

Forces of Light

drugfreeboy (keaton)

regabond (maybe put their name here if they have the facebook app?)

Toox

Majinwar

Chrono-Sama

 

 

I think if you are gonna keep that image, then you could fit this stuff to the right side of the image pretty easy most of the time.

Changelog:

  • Fixed Crash when a user with no stats tried to use the application.
  • Use smaller icons for Profile box and Game News Post
  • Added image for Stat News Post

I'm working on it to say Keaton teamed up with FacebookPlayerName on a 2v2 Conquest on Catarct and won.

FacebookPlayerName would be the name of the player with a link to their profile.

Or it would say Keaton versed FacebookPlayerName .....

Or a combination of the two.

I'm just waiting on more people using it before I work to hard on this.

Ok, I have just added support so you can see who you were just allied with or versed against on facebook.

Lets say you played a really good game, and you want to add your allies to your FB friend list to arrange matches and such. This is now possible if they both have added the facebook application!

So lets get as many people using this so we can help build a community!

MannanMackie I see you are using tournament stats. I am pretty sure tournament stats are wrong and only overall/custom/skirmish/ladder stats are right.

Not sure what the tournamnet stats represent but they don't match any other information such as the list of games played, or the even the overall stats. In your case it is saying in overall stats you have played 18 games since 1.1 update(which matches the game list), but the tournament stats say you have played 54.

The application allows you to select what stats you want to display on your wall so it's up to you to show either tournament/overall/custom/skirmish or ladder stats. As far as the actually stats on Pantheon I can't do anything about that as I am not a member of Stardock/GPG just a fan. By the way we are up to 43 users now!
