Dreams in XP SPIII

Getting a black Screen whenever i click "apply"

Hi Friends...

Its (fortunatly!) a while ago since i had to post a problem... NOW: I cry for HELP!

All the time i set Deskscapes as "Wallpaperengine" (i often use simple JPEGs TOO) i get the following error:

- I choose a Dream

- I click "apply"

- The Dream appears... Property-Window is still open

- Now i finaly click "OK" (Properties close now, as you know)

- The Desktop gets BLACK!!!!

I have to repeat theese steps 3 or 4 times... then the Dream stays and don`t disappears.

BUT: Is this what the developer had in mind with XP??? That you have to repeat those steps 4 times???

In VISTA (I run a Dual-Boot-System) everythiong is fine... but in XP... you read what my Prob is.

Specially today... (its the last of the Month, and i got Pocketmoney from Dad)... when i just bought "Desktop-Collage", which is a fine, very fine Dream... i am sad because of this behavior!  =o(

Has anybody a Tip how i can fix this??? I run Deskscapes 2.50... so its the latest newest i think.

My System has a Pentium Dualcore 2.0GHz and 2 Gigs RAM... a Nvidia Gforce 9500... so i think its not thaaaat bad, hm?

Please... help a young girl to get happy again.

Do other video apps run? Did you recently update your drivers? If so,try rolling back to the last known good one.

Hey dear Wiz...

No,No; Ever since i`ve got Deskscapes installed on my XP i have this Prob with having to click 3 till 4 times to get it running constantly!!! I did not asked earlyer cause i thought i get it fixed on my own, but....

This is 4 Month ago, and my Videodrivers are fine and up to date!

The Gforce 9500 does its Job really good when i do 3D-Graphics in VUE or POSER... does Games highly precise with all Features enabled!

AND: It does Deskscapes FINE in Vista!

The same Graphiccard! So i still wonder what it can be!?

It is really boring to sit there and clicking like an Idiot 4 times untill this Soft is running constant!

Nothing against its Author... cause i SEE how smooth it can work... in VISTA!

By the way... if he reads this: The "Desktop Collage"-Dream is soooo beautyful!!! It looks real ellegant how it behaves with my choosen Wallpapers!
