It keeps asking for my serial number. where do I find that. FYI the only part of the game i can find right now is my disk, i have no frekin clue where the little handbook thingy is.

it is either on the manual(back cover, or perhaps inside the front cover) or for some people it is on the case

Don't know if this is your problem, but I think you have to type the dashes when you type your serial number.  If you haven't tried that it is worth a try.
