disabling fences

what's the best way to turn fences off? (not uninstall, just disable for a while)

when i tried 'turn fences on/off > (en/dis)able fences', it said

 

what kind of instabilities would this create? is there any preferred way of disabling it instead?

one other quick question while i'm at it: what's the name of the fences process?

i see 'fences.exe' when i open the settings, but after i've closed that it disappears.

For future reference, Fences is not part of ThinkDesk, so posting here is going to get you slim to no replies.

This is the best option if you want to temporarily disable Fences.  Doing this constantly (like dozens of times a day) can cause issues, but nothing a full uninstall and reinstall couldn't fix, however that will take your settings with it.
