Does anyone play Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2?

Also was in the Beta, it just didn't seem like a FUN RTS , so I went back to COH.

Been a member since before the Beta. I have always loved the 40k universe and DoW is one of my favourite games. Currently enjoying the 1.4 Beta patch which is very good for Eldar and Orks but avoid if you are a Space Marine fan. Nids are still OP though.

Yeah DowII FTW, GT Desamator1, i'd like to play campaign mode with other people, which i've never tried. Im glad to see other people who play it on here :]

The balance on the 1st oen was terrible. Space marrines only if you wanted to win. So the 2nd one isn'T interesting me. Hey just like sins right now it's all advent.

You should try out DoWII, Its a very good and "Balanced" game, Unit to Unit, yes the space marines win, but, thats because they have the smallest squads in the game. So its really all balanced...

I'm thinking about getting this game...From the looks of the trailers i saw on youtube kind of looks like Diablo meets Demigod with just a hint of XXXX (insert whatever RTS you like there).

Would that be a fair call? If not, feel free to set me straight guys...game does look like its worth getting.

I really liked the coop, but multi wore off quick for me. The matches just end up feeling really similar, and almost routine at times.

I don't like in the new patch how you end up with such an ungodly amount of units, which goes against the thing I did like about the game to begin with - just microing a few squads around to their best potentiall. Nowadays I'm just boxselecting stuff and giving them general move or attackmove orders while I go do something else.

I've had this game a while.  Sadly, I had almost talked two of my friends into getting Demigod with me, but they ended up getting DoW2 because of the condition Demigod was in when released. 

I really do like it's Rep system; friending abilities; and none of us has had any drops, DCs, or laggy games yet.  I don't think it's P2P, and we get into games in under a minute usually.  I find I enjoy the core game itself "almost" as much as Demigod; my friends like it much more.

I usually don't do OP/UP messages, but man did they castrize the Space Marines in 1.5.  That's the only race I've really ever played, and I'm haveing trouble even beating the AI with them now.  But here's a strategy tip if you still want to play SM after 1.5: If you get into melee, retreat, but, if you get into a ranged fire-fight, retreat. . . . . . . 

Im goin to wait... until the first expansion... and also for a sale on steam after that expansion comes out...

Heh, funny. I too will wait for a gold pack with the first expansion. But I'm gonna buy it online though. Steam is to expensive.

I have been playing it but single player so far.
