Impulse/Demigod account name.

Well I decided to buy Demigod today, I used my email adress that i've been using since gmail (google email) has been out, basically a long time. What I didn't know is apparently I've made a Stardock account before using this email (I think for ObjectDock or one of their other windows programs.)

So basically my Demigod Key immediately tied to this account/name, the problem is I absolutely do not want to use this name in Demigod or the Demigod rankings. I started a quick game to test and it does indeed use "freesample00" for my in game name, and I did a search for rankings and it uses this name for rankings as well.

Baiscally what I'm asking is, is there a way to change my name through impulse? I looked and did not see an option. This is gamebreaking for me, I want to be allowed to use my name (Vesnik) while playing.

Log into the following site where you will be able to change your username.

When you sign in, click 'My Account' near the top of the screen. On the page that comes up, select 'Login'. From here you will be able to change your username.

 

It can take up to 24 hours for the name change to show up in Demigod Multiplayer.

Dash is right, but, I like my name PurplePaladin, BUT, I want to use a different name with each type of game (Demigod lends itself to very creative name posiblites).  So I wish I could only change my name for Demigod.

In game name should not be linked to Impulse account name!!! Should be like Sins - you have an account name and then can a a player (or players) name...
