You must be an Object Desktop Ultimate subscriber to get the Beta version of WB7.

NT is correct. If that is the case then make sure you have "Show pre-release versions" checked. 

No, I just have WindowBlinds by itself. I saw it was available in Impulse but said my registration wasn't valid. So I figured it was probably not a free upgrade then but thought I'd ask anyhow. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

depending on when you purchased 6 it may be a free upgrade when it is released - Brad mentioned that somewhere... first they gotta figure when it will be released and then figure the cutoff date for the free upgrade

Click on the orb in the upper left corner of impulse and select "show prelease versions".

who can tell us if we are entitled to test windows blinds 7 beta or not?

I am a registered user of Object Desktop Ultimate and my expiration date is Sep 1 2009

I have done everything mentioned here and it still can't see it on impulse or stardock central.

if you have an current ODU sub, then you should be able to test the WB7 beta

If you buy Object desktop or Object Desktop ultimate you are a subscriber for 1 year automatically, in this way you can try the beta of wb 7, visit the stardock site for better info and price on OD

well I didnt find any further information so I updated my subscription that was going to end on 01 Sep 09 for one more year and took advantage of the premature renewal offer. now it ends on the 01 Sep 2010.

at some point after I reset the data in impulse I saw windowblinds 7 as an option but then I got a message that a new update is available for impulse. After I did that update I did not see the option again.. WTF?? 

I will reinstall stardock central and see if it comes up there..

EDIT: Well Starfock Central doesnt show Windowblinds 7 either..I don't know what I am missing,,??? Does anyone from Stardock read these forums?

if so - try resetting the data in the ORB > preferences (this will also make impulse reupdate itself)

i've done all that already buddy, that's why i am suprised that it still doesn't show up..

and the funny part is that I saw it once on display and I can't get it to show up again..

it stopped showing for me also

i did the reset data a couple of times and made sure show pre released is checked now it shows both 7 & 6 installed

Well I tried whatever u suggested and nothing shows up. I am running windows 7 build 7201, don't know if the means anything. I will probably have to wait for the release of a stantalone version of windowblinds 7, is there such a release available yet?
