I don't see the update via Impulse.

They always take a little bit to sync up and propagate. You can try resetting data and it should show up. Or verify installation might do it too.

Also, thanks Yarlen :D

There have been some issues with the XML files controlling the installation. Check back in an hour or so, the problems should hopefully be fixed by then. :)

I believe it's all set now. Some of the new XML data wasn't sticking as it propogated out to the other download servers.

I cant see suggestions thread so I will post it here..

Why is the limit for ship name lenght so strict? I cant even name my ship TDN Prometheus or TDN Enterprise without cutting off last letters. And I can only dream of TDN Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli (destructive god of the morning star, dawn, and of the east - Aztec mythology). At least increase it to something more reasonable...

And a button to name fleets would be cool too imo...

Will it be a despicable act of disloyalty if I kindly asked for some official Sins News in the Sins News forum?

Thanks.

Just got Entrenchment too.The new Hard AI rapes.

If you start up Impulse (assuming you have downloaded it), the Updates tab will show up at the top.  Go to that, and it should be fairly apparent what to do.  If you see no "Updates" tab (give it a moment to check online), your version of Sins is probably up-to-date.

Stardock is no longer releasing stand-alone patches for the game; updating is only available through Impulse.
