er months of buggering around in C4D I think I might just be ready to try pull off a true Chrome windowblind.. You know. not just metallic looking gradients and highlights, but real, rendered, reflective materials and about as far away from Vista as I can possibly imagine going, at least regarding material composition.

Looks nice. Only thing I would change [judging from the screenshot] is the start button. I have a major aversion to letters/text on start buttons - aesthetically unappealing. Symbols win out here all day long.

I tend to agree but , for me at least, the K in this, is an exception, it better represents the design of the theme and theme name more than than any symbol I could throw together... imo, I could make an alternate winflag start button If I thought it was a big issue... depends what kind of consensus I get on it.

I'd like to see seven different startbuttons so I can change it everyday.  I'd also like it to dispense pizza and beer...and bananas.  Lots of bananas, for uh...a friend.
