1.01 (V2) : Custom games lagged to sh@t. How do we back out of patch?

Ok, so a buddy and I have been playing a lot of custom games together over the past week or two.  We are still learning so we are normally playing us vs AI or us+AI + a large group of AI.    We have never experienced any lag!   It's been great.  Yes, there are some other problems, but the game was a blast!

Now we got 2 patches for v1.01, fired up a game and the lag has never been worse!  And, often when I click in units to attack with my weapon it does not register!   Magic seems to work 100% of the time, but OAK just sits there and takes a beating w/o fighting back.

We could not even complete the game since the lag was soo bad.   Btw, ping was about 240-250.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I need to back this garbage out!  How can I do it???  I had a backup of the bin folder, but this did not work.

Thanks!

I wanted to point out that non-proxy based games are significantly quicker.  We were able to get a game off, but we still saw a ping-out window 2-4 times during it. Plus, there were multiple occasions were it would pause and the char would end up where it should have been if no pause existed.

Even with the lessened lag, (240-250 ping down to 140 ping), the OAK bug still occured and movement seemed sluggish / not smooth.

Also, i'm guessing that there is no method of backing out the patch since the game would be out of sync for others you played with.

The only question is... wasn't this patch supposed to make network support 35% more robust?

Ive noticed with UB today that while the ability bug is much less common, I too had trouble with melee attacks. I would target creeps or another DG, only to watch my beast walk up and sit there for several seconds doing nothing until he decided to attack.

This was in a non-laggy game with great sim speeds.
