Constantly Dropping All

So, after 1.01, i'm getting a pretty consistent error.  There I will be, getting owned as usual, and then all the sudden EVERYONE drops.  I understand that means it was something on my end, but I've got everything set up right, and before yesterday I was consistently getting good games and finishing them.

I'm on Grande Cable in Austin, TX and I consistently get 12 down and 1 up.  The weird thing about this happening to me is that sometimes my internet will be kaput after and sometimes not.  ANd I have to reset my modem.  Could this be Grande resetting my IP?

I've had this problem too. I'll be 10-20 minutes in the game with basically no lag and all off a sudden it'll say I'm waiting for one person.. then drop everyone. I'm on fixed ip with 3m+ down and 700k up ... I'm on a really good machine that the game doesn't tax at all. I'm just not sure what to do. make playing kind of pointless if it's a 50/50 you finish the game solo

Hi guys, we're working with GasPoweredGames to get additional debug information in the game so that the next time this happens, you can send us your logs in the hope that we can get an idea for what's happening with your connection. I appologize for the trouble you're having and hope we can get it remedied for you.

One question I have, if these are custom-games you're in, are you aware if all/any/many of your connections (when clicking "Connetion Info") have "Proxied" next to them? Just looking for info to narrow down your scenarios. Thanks

Yeah that's been happening to me a lot too. I get the popup you get when someone's getting booted, and then all of a sudden I disconnect from everybody. Just yesterday it happened in a 3v3... my friend and I got dropped from everybody at the same time, but nobody else did.

Hi Zanobi, same question there, are you aware if heavy Proxing was in use or did you have reasonably low ping times?

I've only played in the pantheon. I looked there, but it didnt say anything like proxied anywhere. its worth noting. I haven't had the problem today

My apologies for not replying earlier. I apologize for saying 'a lot' as it's only happened 2-3 times in the past week... whether proxies were involved is not something I remember... I definitely wouldn't say heavy, maybe 1 or 2 though that's a pretty wild guess right there. Pings were fine as far as I remember... I'll try to pay more attention from now on.

Same problem here, and I pretty much always have less than 200 ms to everyone in any given game.

 

I think I may have gotten it once total before 1.01.

Thinking of the host has a little spike or sth.... why ever... when everyone is reconnecting the ping goes up heavily and thats results in everyone gets a complete disconnect because of the 7 seconds before kicking are not enough?

 

It just rushed in my mind when i read some of connectivity problems.
