Track posts

Is there some way we can get a forum function to track posts from certain users?  I would love to be able to see when the Devs put up or reply to a post in the elemental forums, but it can be maddening sometimes to wade through the numerous replies.

Yeah that does initial posts... I'd like to be able to see replies too though.

Don't think you can. These forums aren't good for that. I wish they had it to. Also the search is broken if you try it.... it mixes like all of stardock games/forums.

It rly sucks :/.

There actually is a "view all user's replies" option, but it's restricted to moderators only. Not entirely sure why, though.

That is because all Stardock forums are mixed. Just about every thread found on any one site can be viewed from any number of other SD forums sites, somewhere around 12 differing sites at present. (I'm currently posting from GC2.com)

Best thing the OP could do is to make a reply in each Dev journal that interest you and then it shall be in your "My Replies" tab. That will at least keep you informed of a reply to the most, you'll have to do the leg work to see if it's a dev reply though of course.

I know ... thats ... why i said that. And i was just saying its not a smart idea. Should seperate it because when i search for a issue and it pulls up the other 5 games instead of demigod ....

it rly doesnt help ...

I agree. But it's not something that is going to change. SD want their sites interlinked, so as such so will the search.

I have said ever since the cross posting of the forums began (over 18months ago IIRC)  that it is a bad idea, but it is how they wish to run things, i don't see it changing any time soon.

Oh..and when you said mixes all of stardock, i thought you meant just the search mixed em all up, wasn't sure if you knew the extent of the site sharing.

I'd sure use that function regularly if it was available to us in the peanut galleries.
