I am so proud of CryTek, because their games are great and also Yerli Brothers (CEO's of CryTek) are Turkish.

They've been showing off their updated CryEngine for a little while now, so I can't say I'm too surprised :)

not really into first person shooters, but crysis was pretty, cross your fingers and hope number 2 doesn't suck

I played crysis on a low-end computer (barely managed all low on a resolution half what I needed) : Didn't have fun.  Thought it was bland, boring, ect.

Played crysis on a higher end computer (native res, most settings on medium with a custom graphics file) : One of the most fun games I've played.

I think it's lame how CryTek is no longer a PC exclusive developer. The PC version better not be delayed!>:(

Crysis was actually one of the very few FPS I've enjoyed in recent memory. I didn't actually play Warhead, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll squeeze out this time.

Give Warhead a try. The ending is a bit less flashy than the original Crysis', but the rest of the campaign makes up for it by being more fast paced and combat-filled. And using dual auto pistols is amazingly awesome.

^ I didn't enjoy the cutscenes too much, actually.  They were well done, it's just that they're so cheesy. I laughed out loud several times during the cutscenes.

Story telling is probably the weakest part of Crysis.

Crysis and Warhead were excellent benchmarks.

Oh, and they were mediocre games too.

idk the first one was ok but never played the second since the lack of game play (like 5 hours or something) just didnt justify 30$. i'll be interested to play the demo of this new one, though i can say if i need to upgrade my gfx cards (2 98gtx in sli and oc'ed) to play the game maxed at 1680 i wont be buying it. btw the first one was way too demanding/inefficent on the system resources.

FPS games in general aren't really known for their storytelling :) All of them provide you with a backdrop for why you're shooting up people and blowing things up.

Even Bioshock didn't have good storytelling. It had an interesting backdrop and it was up to you to find the recordings to fill the holes.

Its who gets a license for CryEngine3 which will be interesting, I am hoping GSC will develop Stalker2 on it.
