Now i'm working on "Simplicity" then i'll focus on this hard skin (it's very difficult)... i've thought about grunge bullet on the start menu and on taskbar

Now that simplicity is finished i can focus my attention on my big project....i've re-styling the taskbar,window,wallpaper and startmenu....this is the first prototype of the startmenu

It looks great but I have a question. Will the start menu fit on a 1024x768 monitor. My start menu has nine items on the right hand side and it is set to show 3 recent programs. I ask because some start menus go almost all the way to the top of my screen now,even after I shortened it up. This is about as short as I can get it without removing things I prefer to keep on it. I would hate to lose the guns on top. I know,get a bigger monitor,lol.
I'm running Vista,btw.

Final version of the startmenu (except logoff buttons) with a new wallpaper (with the suggestion of Doc )
Sorry for the absence of news but this is a looong work and it's the hardest skin that i've ever made ....in the title post i've post a screen shot that reveal the final design of the skin with the inactive window, there is many work to do still....:-) I hope you like it!
Have to agree with all the other replies, this is really looking good Sc4rfy. It's easy to see that you are putting alot of effort and thought into it. I imagine that some folks in the community will be contacting you to do additonal skins to complement the Theme.
Going to have to read this thread more often.
