New Version LogonStudio Vista - When?

Will there be an updated version of LogonStudio for Vista, which will allow for positioning of the user icon frame and other objects? If so, when?

I have been wondering if there is any way of changing the vertical position of the picture frames, so that they appear as in this picture.

i don't think that is ever going to be possible otherwise they would have already done it

If everyone thought that way we'd still be out monkeying around chasing our own tails. :)

The correct answer to the OP is:

Very unlikely, but sometimes miracles happen...

*IF* it would happen, the answer to when, would be "when it's done".

It might be safe to say that most companies ar moving on to Win 7 and not doing anymore programming for Vista.

It might at that. But IMHO, that would really suck. I just got a new rig with Vista, and I'm not ready to shell out for a new OS already. But I do like 7.

MS changed the format of the Logon for Vista that prevents much customization.  For what it's worth, Stardock has not abandoned it's Vista users (nor it's XP [Deskscapes anyone?]).  Win7 is the future but we know not everyone is ready for it now.  :)

I'm sure Microsoft is convinced that Win7 is not ready for us quite yet, or we'd see it retail by now. ;)

AH-UH!!! and about two years after the release of Win7 all work on products and tools for it will grind to a halt, because MS will announce yet another OS - Just as Vista Ultimate Extras came to an abrupt end.

Getting it to retail takes time.  ;)

So Zubaz, is MS preventing much customisation with Windows 7, especially logon? I don't quite get their thinking. For example, MS has made it possible to change just about ANY icon in Vista. However, the icons for printers cannot be individually changed. Strange mob!
