No.  TB already eats up creeps effectively with the AoE skills he has and levels up more quickly than any other DG because of them.  He doesn't need splash damage on his fireball.

Yeah TBs range AOE is severely limited, Rain of Ice is just too weak, insta killing whole creep waves with a range of 30 or so.

I would vote for 300% damage increase for fireball with an item... but I guess majority will say no too =(

Are you retarded? Even though i spelled out Firemode TWICE in that paragraph, you still mention rain of ice? 

That's why TB has two modes. Each one has its own advantages and disadvantages. If you want a long range creep killing skill play either a hybrid or ice TB. If you are dead-set on playing a pure fire TB then you're going to have to give up on long range AoE.

Bottom line: Fireball doesn't need AoE, because Rain of Ice already has it.

Only current issue I see with TB is that he can't shoot while chasing in Fire form.

too all the noob tbs    learn to switch  playing as  fm  or im alone  u will never be good vs other good players  switching  isn't even hard u click a button  not like u have to type out  switch form

Doesn't help when chasing someone.  You can't swap from fire to ice quickly enough to stay in range.

Honestly I think fireball should have a little longer cooldown and do 400 more dmg at top end. Fireball is pretty horrible if the game goes into "late-late-game", even with fire and ice. How about a favor item or gear option that adds spellpower. Maybe class specific items or favor items?

If, by late-late-game, you're talking about the point in the game where everyone's decked out in artifacts and auto-attack is the primary damage dealer, then just about every damage skill is horrible at that point. 

I agree that it would be nice to have more caster-oriented gear but Fireball isn't any worse off than other damage spells in that regard.
