Demigod 108 Hour Work Week - Part 1

Demigod 108 Hour Work Week - Part 1

Over the past several weeks, Brad has been posting a series of journals keeping everyone updated on the issues and the progress being made in regards to the connectivity issues in Demigod after launch.  He has also posted some short video clips of the team here at Stardock hard at work, and sometimes enjoying a few minutes of down time, during the time after the Demigod launch.  Those were just a glimpse of what was going on during the extensive work week.

Now that the majority of issues have been corrected, we have put together a video documentary giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the 108 work week after the launch of Demigod.

This is the first video in a three part series.

it had Yarlen and Zoomba in it

It had a whole lot of us in there.  I wish we would have known ahead of time that the meeting was being recorded...I may have combed my hair or something.  LOL

"We're finally entering the twentieth century" That doesn't sound good coming from a company in 2009. (ie. twenty-first century) So, how are the punch-cards looking?^_^

God I love nit-picking.}:)

129mb/s = 16.125MB/s = 947.5 MB per minute = 56850 MB per hour X 3 hours = 170550 MB = 166.55 GB...

...I guess that'll just have to do... :P

Started watching, had to stop 5 mins into the first meeting, as I just couldn't get this awesome song out of my mind...

Guess I have to wait for the video with technical discussions for something I'll enjoy :D

Yarlen and Zoomba are in marketing? o_O They dont deserve to sit at such a nice table, they should be in the basement, with rats and hamsters  ;P

The guy (in green shirt) on the right, who is that? i think ive seen him somewhere before, could it be Kryo?

Funny meeting Frogboy :)  I like the part -  "Those" Europeans hehe.. and the "Warez" guys.  The IT guy talking IT - Instead of Server Collocation he just says "The Collos"  Even though I am not posting as much.. I read everything you post Frogboy.

nice.   reminds me of office space except in reality.

Seemed like 20 minutes of "the frogboy show" to me.  Lots of brad talking and not a lot of information I didn't already know.  My first instinct was also that it had been staged

Yeah, uh... they didn't actually make the thing they tried to fix, so saying they should have planned better doesn't apply. They did this crazy work week because they knew some people (like you) would blame them for it anyway.

Well who made it then? :P And it's not the planning i was really referring to, more that crunching doesnt work :)
