Hm nice. I def am not upgrading my vista to SP2 until i hear it is ok and all the bugs are worked out. I don't trust huge Microsoft updates right away :x.

I had installed the RC of it and had no problems at all. The little " beta " message on the wallpaper drove me nuts though..

Downloading this right now and will be installing asap.

if you feel so, then dont use it.

Using any OS or even updating it is totally your choice.

Actually this will probably be the last one for Vista.  They pretty much ironed out what was needed.  If Vista ran the way it does now when it was released I think it would have been much more accepted.

Who cares? SP3 didn't really do that much that was noticiable in my opinion. I didn't notice one bit of difference.

Yet switching all my hardware and going to vista .. ive noticed a huge huge huge hugeeeeee difference. While i will say vista is not the best OS ... if you aren't el cheap-o it runs just perfect.

And windows 7 will just make it all the better

Nto to devolve this into an OS Pros/Cons thread, but personally I still haven't gotten used to the drastic interface changes in Vista. I always used 9x look/feel in XP, but I have been giving the Vista UI a fair chance before I go for a more classic setup.

Don't even get me started on how they murdered Office.

Sure 2003 there was a big jump from 2003 to 2007 but it is more or less the sam

The thing I like about 2007 is the font changes, and the different styles you can use from Trek to standard office, to office 2007 and the different color themes. Not to mention the ability to graphic that is different from before however, the fact they changed the file format from normal to adding an x is quite annoying.
