Lock the f****** flag

Lock the f****** flag

When I say 'lock those flags or we'll lose,' I'm not joking. I can't be the only guy on the team who actually buys them. Spend 250 here and there, and actually help us win the match. I can't even count how many matches I've lost because I was the only person who was using flag locks, after repeatedly screaming at my team to lock a flag they cap. I know, I know, nobody likes to take orders in this game, even when coordination is needed. Fine, take it as a polite suggestion. Whatever you want it to be, just lock the god damn flag please.

Quoting cilice, reply 23You know strangler, I've been watching you post around the forums, and I gotta say, your not a very cuddly guy.

In all seriousness though, maybe if you were a little more polite/friendly about it instead of "after repeatedly screaming at my team to lock a flag they cap" they might consider it with a little more seriousness, instead of being offended/yelling back.

Trust me, I talk nice. But when I have to say the same thing 15 times and the team still doesn't get it, even after my repeated example, it gets... frustrating.

TGS is like me, he has post-match rage issues. I'm usually nice to my in-game mates too. I do go off the handle if I'm trying to help people learn how to play and they ignore me and run and die constantly.

I also hate ignorants players who think they're the coolest shit on the block, and ignore everything you say without giving a real reason why other then that you suck. Of course, if I get killed in a 3vs1 because no one wanted to help me, it's obviously my fault.

LoL I have a friend who plays regulus who thinks its totally cool to murder/suicide chase an enemy behind their towers. He is absolutely convinced hes hot shit. Every time he chases them back I pray to god he dies without getting a kill, I figure eventually he will learn his lesson.

um, if he's consistently getting the kills then why not do it? Money for him, no money for the other guy, and both have equal time spent respawning. Now, if he's not getting the kills consistently, then it's dumb.

Truth; I frequently go chasing enemy DG's into their towers, because I know my own abilities well and I know that when it's a squishy versus me with health stacking, unless they try to actually attack me while I'm deep within range of their towers, I can either get away (if they attack too early) or kill them and die to the towers, which gives me money and EXP and the enemy nothing.

This only works in pub games.  Kamikaze kills aren't worth it unless you have perfected a *very* aggressive playstyle, because if there is any chance the enemy will get gold off your death it isn't worth it.  Playing cautiously will reap greater dividends in most cases.

Huh? If you get the kill, then the enemy *doesn't.* They'll get a forces of darkness/light kill and no kill/assist gold, unless you can kill somebody by running into a two demigods and killing one but can't get away, in which case it's still an even trade. I'd say trading a kill for an assist is a good thing.

I go for suicide runs when attempting to mount an offensive. If I can cap and lock an enemy portal, it's worth dying if my team is willing to help maintain it.

My point being that at best he pulls off a murder suicide, despite the slight gain of gold we really could use the sniping during that 30 second respawn.

IMHO if your going to do suicide runs against enemy DG's early game you do it on UB, not on Regulus.

Also, to provide a bit of background, this same guy, playing regulus as a sniper, tells me and my other friend (Oak, TB) at the beginning of our last game "you guys are gonna have to get all the citadel upgrades, im saving up for god plate armor, cause once i have that its GG" I shit you not.

Go look up "god plate armor" and cry.

I lol'd at god plate. Then I began to cry... then cut myself.

You could spend that gold on so many things that aren't shit...
